The Essential Check for anaemia, infection, and energy levels
Monitor your fundamental health markers with our Basic Blood Count (FBC). This test provides a vital snapshot of your blood health, helping to identify signs of anaemia, immune system status, and blood clotting capability.
For this particular test, we currently use a referral lab, so your sample is processed directly in a CQC-regulated UKAS-accredited lab (TDL; The Doctors Laboratory, 9317 and 10199), ensuring clinical accuracy and fast results.
What’s Included? This panel measures 4 essential biomarkers:
-
Haemoglobin (Hb): Checks for anaemia and oxygen-carrying capacity.
-
Red Blood Cell Count (RBC): Monitors overall blood health and energy.
-
White Blood Cell Count (WBC): Screens for signs of infection or inflammation.
-
Platelets: Essential for evaluating your blood's ability to clot.
