How it Works

All our kits contain everything you need to collect your blood sample and send it to our laboratory for analysis. Inside, you'll find lancets, instructions, a lab request form, labels, a tube, tube pouch, prepaid UN3373 envelope, tube holder, swabs, alcohol wipes, and plasters. Our kit components are CE marked and the kit is MHRA registered.

  1. Order your kit
    Order a kit based on what you want to be tested for.
  2. Read the instructions carefully
    Your kit includes full instructions. Following them closely ensures the test works correctly the first time.
  3. Prepare your hands and encourage blood flow
    Drink plenty of water beforehand and warm your hands under warm running water for a few minutes. This improves blood flow and makes sampling easier.
  4. Collect your sample
    Fill the tubes to the top line, approximately 13 drops of blood. 
  5. Post your sample promptly
    Place the tubes in the supplied pouch, then the cardboard box, and finally into the prepaid envelope. Send your sample on the same day you take it, before midday, Monday to Thursday. No need to go to the post office, simply drop it into your nearest red letterbox. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24.
  6. Receive your results
    We will analyse your sample and send your results by email within the specified time. A copy can be sent to your GP or surgery if you wish.
